Our Cajun Heritage
WHO WE ARE
Smoke-n-Tails is a takeout eatery that was formed to bring our brand of Cajun Taste to our customers in the surrounding area. Established on the property formally Old World Bakery, known for great Hungarian Style Pastries and Lunches. Jonathan along with his wife Suzie and dad Byron have decided to bring a little Cajun food to the property and reintroducing the Hungarian Pastries the was passed down to Suzie from her mom. The pastries made this property a staple in Albany and the surrounding area. All the owners have resided in Livingston Parish since birth and have Livingston Parish friends and family to thank for inspiring the cuisine. Our seasonal Boiled Crawfish, Shrimp, and Crabs are cooked to have the right number of spices our customers can appreciate and come back for more. The Smoke-n-Tails very own spice recipe comes from south Louisiana and was developed with the area in mind. Please come by to get your Boiled Crawfish, Shrimp, Crabs (when in season) along with our very own Crawfish Jambalaya (during Lent) or our Pork, Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya or Pastalaya (on specific days, see menu page for more details). We also have locally produced Boudin, Boudin Balls and Sausage cooked or for sale in coolers. Also, coming soon Smoke-n-Tails will have a delivery service to help the community and surrounding area.
